Helping you meet the challenge of supporting adults with complex needs

We are a leading specialist care provider for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and associated complex needs. We provide residential and supported living services for over 600 people, with expertise across a wide range of specialist conditions, including support for those exhibiting behaviours that challenge. Effective and consistent processes backed by continuous investment in staff development ensure we deliver consistently high standards of personalised care across all our services.

With over 25 years’ experience, we are at the forefront of national best practice and innovation, market-leader in the South of England. Quality, safety, good governance and the delivery of successful outcomes are fundamental to our ethos. Our standards significantly exceed statutory requirements, underpinned by stringent inspection and audit processes, and we consistently achieve among the highest CQC ratings of any comparable organisation in the country.

9 out of 10

In a recent report, 90% of the people we support with mental health conditions, and 85% with learning disabilities, displayed improved behaviour, or remained at an improved level since their last review.

Specialist care services

To support a wide of range complex needs, we offer a comprehensive set of service options from high acuity residential care to more flexible supported living solutions, creating an effective pathway to more independent lifestyles.

Our residential homes provide a safe, supportive and therapeutic living environment, equipped to the highest standards, including unique specialist facilities, such as our annexes. A consistent approach, emphasising choice and independence, ensures we can transfer our high quality residential standards to the supported living model, as complementary capabilities, removing the potential for compromise across cost and quality of care.

Diverse services

We operate over 60 residential homes, and a breadth of supported living services, each of which has been designed to meet local needs. This means we can offer range and diversity, including single-sex homes and specialist environments, while bringing together people with similar challenges and care requirements.

Extraordinary people, every day

At Choice we care for a wide range of individuals, many of whom face highly complex challenges. Whatever those challenges, our care teams pride themselves on providing the best possible care for those people with the greatest needs. We expect and achieve the best for the people we support, and that includes continually improving and challenging ourselves.

All our services are run by highly-accomplished, exceptionally motivated people. Care teams are led by experienced registered managers, supported by our in house Positive Behaviour Support Team and fully-trained social care workers, providing up to 24-hour high quality support.

Quality of care is dependent on quality of people. We provide an outstanding programme of ongoing learning and development, including mandatory courses and 20+ specialisms across specific needs. Our colleagues are highly-trained, naturally compassionate, friendly and warm-hearted. Extraordinary people, consistently willing to go the extra mile for everyone they support.
